It’s summer season, so of course I was looking for a date on the water. I matched with Emery and started some witty conversation on the app. He is 6’5″ so naturally “I’m looking for a man in finance, trust fund, 6’5″ blue eyes” is on repeat in my head.1
I was pleasantly surprised how attractive he was when we met in person, but after our first drink he asked the bartender for the check. I knew it was too good to be true. Then he suggested going to a different bar because he prefers a better crowd. As we walked along the dock, he jokingly picked me up to throw me in the water. I got excited when he touched me! By the end of the night we were making out on the street (which I’m usually shy about), but he was so handsome and physical and saying all the right things. Who is this guy, Nick Cannon? Emery had the opportunity to share that he has kids on his dating profile. He purposely hid that and didn’t mention it until he knew that I was coming over. I was curious to see what would give it away. His house was really clean but the evidence was there… a dollhouse, Spiderman tissue box, and kid photos on the wall.
